Apa itu Anaphoric, Cataphoric, dan Exophoric Reference ?

 


Halo sahabat guru, disini saya akan menjelaskan apa itu anaphoric reference, cataphoric reference dan exophoric reference.

Sebelum saya menjelaskan ketiga reference tersebut , mari kita lihat tabel berikut ini:


Berdasarkan tabel diatas kita dapat ketahui bahwa yang membedakan ketiga jenis reference tersebut adalah location of referenced noun-nya yaitu lokasi dimana reference noun nya itu berada.
Ketika dia dikatakan Anaphoric Reference maka referenced noun-nya berada di awal kalimat  atau dinamakan dengan sooner in the sentence. Dan ketika referenced noun-nya itu muncul setelah kalimat, maka dia dikatakan dengan Cataphoric Reference. Sedangkan ketika referenced noun-nya tidak ditemukan di dalam kalimat, maka dia disebut dengan Exophoric Reference, dimana referenced noun-nya itu tidak dijelaskan pada kalimat atau berada diluar kalimat.

Nah, untuk lebih jelasnya mari kita lihat pengertian dan contoh kalimatnya.

Pengertian Anaphoric, Cataphoric, dan Exophoric Reference

Anaphoric Reference
Anaphoric Reference yaitu terjadi ketika pronoun/word/phrase menunjukkan sesuatu yang disebutkan lebih awal dari sebuah kalimat.

Contoh :
Risa went to the cinema. She was annoyed because it was closed.





Berdasarkan contoh diatas kita ketahui bahwa yang menunjukkan pronoun yaitu she dan it. She refers to Risa dan  It refers to the cinema. Posisi she menunjukkan Risa sedangkan it menunjukkan the cinema. Penjelasan dari Risa dan the cinema lebih awal dari pronounnya (She dan it) itu sendiri yaitu berada di awal kalimat. Nah posisi seperti inilah disebut dengan Anaphoric Reference.


Cataphoric Reference
Cataphoric reference adalah kebalikan dari Anaphoric Reference, yaitu terjadi ketika sebuah pronoun, word atau phrase disebutkan setelah kalimat pertama.

Contoh :
Although I phone her every week, my mother still complains that I don’t keep in touch often enough.


Berdasarkan contoh diatas kita ketahui bahwa her refers to my mother. Penjelasan dari my mother terletak setelah kalimat pertama. Maka posisi seperti ini disebut dengan Cataphoric Reference.


Exophoric Reference
Exophoric Reference yaitu terjadi ketika sebuah pronoun, word, atau phrase yang ditunjukkan tidak disebutkan di dalam kalimat. Maksudnya, orang yang terlibat pada kalimat tersebut tidak disebutkan namun penulis/pembaca telah mengetahui siapa pronoun, word atau phrase tersebut. 

Contoh :
I told her that she could find it on a map, but you know how she is.



She and her refer to a person not ever mention within the sentence.
It refers to a place not ever mentioned within the sentence.
Nah pada kalimat diatas kita tidak menemukan siapa penjelasan pronoun itu karena tidak disebutkan pada kalimat. Penjelasan pronoun-nya tidak disebutkan namun pembaca/penulis telah mengetahui siapa itu her, she, dan it.
Ketika kita tidak menemukan penjelasan dari pronoun maka kalimat tersebut disebut dengan Exophoric Reference.

Teks Berita: Pengertian, Unsur-unsur, struktur dan Kebahasaan | Materi Kelas 8



Halo sobat pelajar... apa yang kamu bayangkan jika kamu mendengar kata teks berita? pasti kamu membayangkan koran, majalah, atau acara berita di televisi. Sebelum ada koran dan majalah, berita disampaikan secara lisan dari mulut ke mulut, yang artinya jika tidak bertemu maka tidak ada berita atau kabar. Namun sekarang sangat mudah mendapatkan berita, baik itu di media cetak ataupun di media elektronik. Nah, taukah kamu apa itu sebenarnya teks berita? Unsur-unsur apa saja yang ada pada teks berita? Yuk kita simak penjelasannya...


Pengertian Teks Berita

 Teks berita adalah teks yang berisi tentang segala peristiwa yang terjadi di dunia. Teks berita biasanya disebarkan melalui berbagai media seperti surat kabar, radio, siaran televisi maupun media online. Peristiwa yang dilaporkan adalah peristiwa terkini sehingga menarik minat pembaca/pendengar.

Berita merupakan fakta yang memang dianggap penting dan harus segera disampaikan kepada masyarakat. Tetapi tidak semua fakta dapat disajikan berita oleh media, fakta-fakta yang ada akan dipilih sehingga fakta mana saja yang layak untuk disampaikan kepada masyarakat. Fakta adalah peristiwa yang benar-benar ada/terjadi.


Unsur-Unsur Teks Berita

Teks berita berisi informasi yang bermanfaat bagi pembaca. Pembaca menjadi tahu segala hal yang terjadi di negaranya ataupun di dunia. Informasi penting dalam berita tersebut dapat diperoleh dengan mudah oleh pembaca dengan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur teks berita. Unsur- unsur teks berita terdiri dari beberapa hal sebagai berikut.



Dengan demikian, unsur penting atau pokok berita mengandung pertanyaan apa, dimana, kapan, siapa, mengapa, dan bagaimana. Dalam berita, enam pertanyaan itu dapat dirumuskan menjadi 5W+1H (what = apa, where = dimana, when = kapan, who = siapa, why = mengapa, dan how = bagaimana). Unsur-unsur tersebut juga sering dikenal dengan sebutan "adik simba" (apa, dimana, kapan, siapa, mengapa, dan bagaimana).


Menyimpulkan Isi Teks Berita

Berita merupakan rangkaian tentang suatu hal atau peristiwa, baik itu disampaikan melalui lisan maupun tulisan. Dalam menyimpulkan berita, kamu harus menentukan unsur-unsur berita terlebih dahulu. Unsur-unsur teks berita tersebut dijadikan sebagai bahan untuk menyimpulkan isi berita.  Penyimpulan teks berita berarti menjelaskan secara keseluruhan isi teks berita dengan mengaitkan berbagai informasi penting yang menjadi pokok berita. Hal penting yang  harus kamu perhatikan dalam menyimpulkan teks berita adalah menuliskan kata kunci yang merujuk pada suatu pokok berita dalam teks. Berikut langkah-langkah menyimpulkan isi berita:

1. Menyimak berita dengan seksama.

2. Mencatat pokok-pokok isi berita yang kita dapatkan, yaitu; tema, peristiwa, yang diberitakan, orang yang diberitakan, tempat kejadian, waktu kejadian, proses terjadinya peristiwa yang sedang diberitakan.

3. Membuat kesimpulan berita dengan cara menyusun pokok-pokok berita kemudian disusun dalam kalimat berita.


Sebelum menyimpulkan teks berita, kita juga harus memahami teks berita. Berikut langkah-langkah untuk memahami teks berita:

a. Membaca judul berita.

b. Simaklah dengan baik teks berita yang dibaca.

c. Jagalah konsentrasi selama proses membaca/menyimak teks berita.

d. Catatlah hal-hal penting dari berita, bisa menggunakan adiksimba (5W + 1H).

e. Buatlah rangkuman dan tanggapan isi teks berita.


Struktur Teks Berita

Secara umum, berita memiliki struktur sebagai berikut :

1. Kepala Berita (headline), yaitu judul berita utama yang biasanya ditulis besar-besar.

2. Teras Berita (lead), yaitu satu paragraf pembuka yang memuat intisari berita yang paling menarik.

3. Tubuh Berita (body), yaitu bagian isi uraian lengkap yang menjelaskan seluruh unsur adiksimba (5W +1H).

4. Kaki Berita (leg), yaitu bagian penutup yang berupa simpulan atau penegasan ulang.



Kebahasaan teks Berita

Kebahasaan teks berita merujuk tentang bagaimana ciri atau kaidah sebuah teks dibangun. Kebahasaan ini dapat digunakan untuk mengenal suatu teks berita tertentu.  Di dalam teks berita, kata-kata dan kalimat-kalimatnya memiliki aturan tersendiri yang dapa dijadikan sebagai ciri ataupun pembeda dengan jenis teks lainnya. Berikut ciri kebahasaan yang dimaksud:

1. Menggunakan bahasa baku. Hal ini untuk menjembatani pemahaman banyak kalangan. Bahasa baku lebih mudah dipahami oleh umum. Bahasa-bahasa yang bersifat populer ataupun yang kedaerahan akan dihindari oleh media-media nasional.

2. Menggunakan kalimat langsung dan tidak langsung. Kalimat langsung ditandai oleh dua tanda petik ganda ("...") dan  disertakan keterangan penyertanya. sebaliknya, kalimat tidak langsung adalah kalimat yang telah dibahasakan kembali tanpa mengurangi intinya.

Contih:



3. Menggunaka kata kerja mental atau kata kerja yang terkait dengan kegiatan dari hasil pemikiran. Kata-kata yang dimaksud, antara lain: membayangkan, memikirkan, berasumsi, berpraduga, berkesimpulan, dan beranalogi.

Contoh:

Warga membayangkan seandainya hujan itu kembali turun dengan terus-menerus.

4. Menggunakan keterangan waktu dan tempat sebagai konsekuensi dari perlunya kelengkapan suatu berita yang mencakup unsur kapan dan di mana.

Contoh:

Gempa dengan kekuatan 5,4 Skala Richter (SR) menerjang Maluku pagi ini.

5. Menggunakan konjungsi temporal atau penjumlahan, seperti kemudian, sejak, setelah, sebelumnya, lalu. Hal ini terkait dengan pola penyajian berita yang umumnya mengikuti pola kronologis (urutan waktu)

Contoh:

Sekitar pukul 09.00 WIB, Sabtu (15/3/2021), langit Medan tampak mendung. Tak lama kemudian, hujan yang diharapkan warga akhirnya pun turun. Hujan yang turun di siang bolong ini memang tidak terlalu deras.

Apa itu Subject Pronouns ?

 



Dalam Bahasa Inggris maupun Bahasa Indonesia dikenal dengan Kata Ganti Orang, yaitu kata yang mengganti nama orang atau benda.

Misalnya kata saya, kamu, mereka (untuk benda, atau nama lebih dari satu) dan kita atau kami. Selain kata ganti orang (subject pronouns) juga dikenal kata ganti empunya/milik, seperti KU, MU, dan NYA (Bukuku, Bukumu, Bukunya).

Yuk kita lihat kata Ganti Orang selain She, He, I dan You. Perhatikan pula perubahan bentuknya jika posisi kata ganti itu bukan sebagai pokok kalimat, misalnya :
